I read the book Sadako and the Thousand Paper Cranes by Eleanor Coerr when I was a little girl, and just cried and cried when it was finished. I remember crying because the ending was at the same time heartbreaking as it was beautifully inspirational.

I’ve had a penchant for origami ever since.

This origami necklace is both delicate and powerful at the same time, much the emotions so beautifully expressed in Coerr’s classic book.
