Business Tools

Moo – Business Cards

Minted – Business Cards

PicMonkey – Create blog collages quickly and easily

BlueHost – Website Hosting Rackspace – Cloud Website Hosting (Our most preferred)

Organizing Tools

Evernote – Save or create notes, photos or files and sync across all of your devices.

Google Docs – Create and share work online and access it anywhere.

Dropbox – Cloud storage for all your photos, videos, docs, and other files.

OneDrive – 1 Terabyte of cloud storage for photos, videos, Word docs and other files.

Photography Equipment

Nikon D3100 – An easy DSLR camera, this is my in-studio staple. There’s a newer model, the D3300, but I haven’t tried  it.

Canon SX130IS – A good macro camera, and a point and shoot. I use this one almost exclusively on vacation and for close ups. The SX50 is the newer model, and is equally as fantastic.

Fujifilm X30 – I just bought this camera, and I’m already in love with it. This will most likely by my go-to for outdoor shots.

Eyefi 16GB Pro X2 – This will change your life. A wireless SD card allows your photos to upload automatically on your laptop. I use this every single day.

Fancier Studio Hair Boom Light – My studio is dark in the afternoon; I use this light, pointed towards the ceiling, to provide a bit of a boost.

iPad – No introduction needed. I use my iPad for answering emails and while on vacation. Oh, and for listening to podcasts while working

MacBook Pro – Heavy duty and a workhorse, this is what’s in my office and on my desk at all times.

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 – Not so much a cell phone as a mini-office. I check and send messages and take impressive on-the-fly-photos.

Cellulon Epic Virtual Full Size Keyboard  – a mobile projection keyboard. There’s a bit of a learning curve on this one, but once you get it, you’ve got it. I pack the virtual keyboard and my iPad when I go on vacation and don’t want to take my laptop.

eBay – To check prices and demand for products.

Etsy – To verify if a product is vintage, and if it’s scarce.

Afterlight – Apply filters to photographs or collages.

Over – Create memes and place text ‘over’ photos. Also available for Android here.
